Dear Margaret,

How can I thank you for the wonderful support and advice you have provided over the past 90 days.

I began the challenge not really sure what to expect, but having only set up my Reflexology business in February 2008, I was open to all suggestions.

I decided I would aim for 10 new clients which in itself, seemed ambitious at the time.

I wrote my letter, tentatively decided on a target audience and commenced my two for one sessions. I initially offered these to my existing clients and became very busy with the response.

Then as things quietened down, the time came for my abundance cheques and each time I wrote one, I trusted and to my surprise, usually received a new client.

I started to think about a strategic alliance and again was offered one - by my local health food store - who offered to display my brochures.

Recently a beauty therapist has also offered to hand out my brochures to her customers. Since then I have had many calls for two for one sessions and have even been asked to give a small talk at a women's gym. I have yet to do this and am terrified but as you said, I need to feel the fear and I'm sure it will pay off.

Many times I have questioned where I am headed but each time, something amazing happens to keep me going and to overcome the fear.

I have gained 12 new clients over the 90 days - something I doubted I would ever achieve.

Thank you so much for the direction you have provided and the confidence you have instilled in me to build up my practice and continue doing something I love. You have so generously given of your own knowledge and time and I really do appreciate it.

I just wanted to share my success with you and to say thank you Margaret. I am still working my way through the 90 day challenge workbook and have just joined the networking group so it is early days yet but I have already had a major win.

I chose my "who" to be my Maternity reflexology and have been continuing to remarket myself making new posters collecting phone numbers and working out where I will put my cards etc. I chose maternity clients as no one else in my area does maternity reflexology and there is a big need for it. Also I enjoy working with new and expectant mums and with my nursing background have a good understanding of the problems that can occur.

My mind has been focussed on my business as you recommended some of it thinking about how best to make contact with the midwives at the local hospital and perhaps do some talks. Last time I just dropped my brochures, cards and posters down there, which got me some clients but I thought I could do better.

This morning I had a call from a client for a maternity treatment who was recommended to me by one of the midwives. This is not unusual but I thought good maybe I can get in touch with this midwife and we can go from there. Two hours later one of the midwives in charge of the antenatal centre and responsible for talking to the obstetricians etc called me to ask if I would like her to drop some of my brochures off to the local doctors. Bingo! Needless to say we are organising talks and further marketing.

It is so easy to forget the power of positive thinking and putting thoughts out into the universe for what you want/need.

Once again thank you and I am really enthused to for the future. I am organising one of our regular 3 monthly networking meetings for the local reflexologist and I will definitely be recommending you to all.

Well, I have committed to this program you have graciously put out on the web and I felt you deserved first another HUGE THANK YOU for all your efforts and intent.

I am just onto the second week, and I have to say my future letter is read (or listened to on recorded tape) and is already having its impact. My personal mantra I came up with in the letter was to ACT DIFFERENTLY and that is certainly becoming more obvious. I did some grassroot marketing in the shop of the Centre I rent space from and put out for the two for one. I also put on my website the two for one and had two enquiries from that source which I have had very little response from. One decided to cancel and I quickly said to myself “that was an unfortunate decision – he missed out on a really great opportunity to have a therapy session with this fabulous therapist”. I got two new clients that week, however, the interesting response from one was she felt uncomfortable not paying for a session because in her experience when she has not paid previously she has felt that the practitioner “took something from her”. Since I was giving her a session on EFT I suggested she tap through (at home) why she would be attracting such an “experience”. I also got two more participants for my forthcoming EFT workshop (which previously did not attract sufficient participants to go ahead). YES THIS WORKS! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Did I do the work?

Not as I could have, but I am definitely more motivated.
I made a plan, set a goal, and got some good responces because I sold me as a "product".

You made me realize again that I don't want to work for money, but because I have something to say, to do. And in presenting myself as such, people are curiose and willing to pay.

I'm trying to get some work as a Reiki master, initiating people. I intend to do 1 weekend per month. According to your programme I should take as much time preparing. This I have done and with result, I did 2 weekends and a workshop, so.. Your programme has made a change for me and the way I want to go about starting my own bussiness. In fact I 'll recommend you to some of my friends. You 'll probably hear from them.

I saved all your emails and I think I'll reread them now and again, to make sure I keep, or get on track. If that doesn't work I'll let you know so you can start me of again.

Without Mz Margz I'd have had to go back and get a job. 11 months ago, I was struggling to attract clients. I had a few regulars but getting new ones was very difficult and it was probably actually costing me to practice. I found a leaflet for the 90 day Challenge, downloaded it, read it and then did nothing.

After about a month of avoiding it, desperation set in and I actually started to do the exercises and I can honestly say that, after qualifying from my course, it has been the most important thing I have done in my practice.

Even though I have business background, I had lost sight of the basics such as Who and What. As a solo practitioner it is easy to get side-tracked and expend a lot of energy in the wrong areas. The 90 day Challenge and Mz Margz gave me direction and structure. My activity is much more focused and I'm now attracting a new client a week. As well as retaining the ones I have.

I cannot recommend this program highly enough. It should be replace the so-called Business Studies element of most Therapy courses. In the meantime, do yourself and your potential clients a favour and do the exercises and build your business.

Hi Margaret,

I finished to read your "90 day challenge" book and also the other one. Your english is easy to understand and that helped me a lot, as I'm lazy to take a dictionnary ;-)

It was wonderfull to read... that I was as a lot of other practitionner... talking about all the things I can do for everyone....... ;-)

So...the first thing I did is to read again all my website and other documents I prepared... and then to write a new presentation, focused with your who and what methode/advice.

A big job... but great to do. After one day putting a lot of words on sheets of papers... and some Reiki to ask help ;-) the words came easily and to day my new presentation is on my website (in french ;-) ). Focused.

I also think and decide about "promotion" (what you name : two of one sessions). I'd put on my website that I made special prices for association, people without work, students etc....... but as "usual" it was not precis enough...... So I'm preparing a new page with better explaination and... during that I received by email an ask for info from an association........ Great ! the "coincidence" ;-)

I have been one of the many people receiving your weekly motivations....I wanted to take some time to offer my thanks and to let you know that I have gotten a lot out of your honest and personal writing style and your fresh advise! Thanks for sharing what you know and slowly day by day things are growing business wise for me! It is amazing how much this effects how you feel within all areas of your life.

I spent a lot of time in the 90 days trying to do too much! I am very creative and have had so many fabulous ideas this year. In had an image of my business being like a stove with too many pots on the boil. So I decided to put some of the ideas in the oven to keep warm and have only a couple of things going...even now I wonder if I have too many things...it is a great way to get nothing done!!!

Calling all the people on my database and emailing others has gotten the ball rolling and it feels so great to get feedback from a source you thought was dry!

I always find that where effort is created, the universe gives you that helping hand too!

Hi Mz Margz,

Last night I read your motivating email #1 and took the printed 90 Day Challenge to bed for last minute reading at 1am.

The first thing I said to my partner in the morning was that I am offering 2 for 1 massages from now on.

I got to the gym at 9am to find out that there was no bookings for me today. I said to the owner ‘never mind they will come’

I set up my table and by 9.30am my first client came to ask if I was free to do a massage. We made a time for 12midday and by the way – “I am offering 2 for 1 massages”. I interpreted this as 2 people for the price of one. She was so happy and said her friend was just around the corner and so 1/2 hr appointments were booked. The first appointment went very well and she booked a 1 hour appointment for 2 weeks time. She was full of praise to her friend who was about get on the table. The second appointment went well and finished with her making another appointment to come back for a Reiki session.

WOW the power of intent.
