Greetings
WOW – how did it get to the last newsletter of the year?
I trust 2009 has been a great year for you. I've learnt and grown such much and I've been honoured to be in the presence of so many souls in my coaching programs and worshops who faced their fears head on and broke through to a new place. Now that's special to look back on!
As many of you know I'm not a big Christmas person, preferring to keep things very low key and quiet. But it doesn't mean I can't get in the spirit of things and declare my own silly season.
Last year I got the greatest response ever from the end of year "duckies" newsletter. So because you loved them so much I thought we'd see if "piggies" could provide as much inspiration and motivate as many smiles as the duckies did last year.
I don't mean to take away the seriousness of building your business but humour has been coming up regularly in the little set of angel cards that sit on my kitchen table. So it seems a good time to honour their message and smile and be ridiculous for a short time at least.
To be honest the one thing that has served me the most over the years has been my ability to sit back and have a good old laugh (often after a lot of tears!) But with every predicament I'd find myself in, I would always find something to smile about (eventually) and find a new message in amongst the chaos.
I trust you will always be able to find something to laugh about no matter what is occurring around you.
I'm sure the "piggies" will bring you as much humour and cause for positive thought as they have for me as I've been preparing this email.
It’s been a fabulous year and I thank all of you who have supported me so awesomely in 2009 and trust all of you will make some time during the holiday to simply relax, restore and rejuvenate. ENJOY!!!
Be Remarkable

The holidays are a fine time to
kick back and relax and also to
remember those who may
longer be with you.
I'm sharing two of the
most
special people to me (above), both
a
long time passed, but never far
from my mind particularly
at this time of year.
Dad and Sarah (my great dane who
never accepted her status of "dog"
preferring human activities)
both
equally
loved Christmas
and
the holidays.
They are
snapped
above
at our
beach house
in the
Marlborough
Sounds in
New
Zealand
heading out fishing
in the dingy.
A
true
slice of
heaven
and a
sacred
place
of peace
and tranquility.
Dad loved fishing
and when a
great
dane
decides
to help you fish
- well
you don't have
a lot of choice
in
the
matter.
Sarah also loved to
supervise
water
skiing - up the
front
of the big
boat
beside Dad
- paws
on the
dashboard
- ears
flying
in
the
wind.
She
broke
every health and safety
rule but never fell out of the boat and
would carry on so pitifully if she
got
left
on shore so it was
easier to let her go.
Back yard cricket took on new
rules
when Sarah joined in -
after the bat
hit the ball
EVERYONE
had to run
after the ball because
if Sarah got
there first - she
wouldn't give it back.
Her team position was silly back leg.
Its the simple memories that
stay with us the longest. |
