Frequently Asked Questions about Affliate Programs

Q. How much does it cost to join the Abundant Private Practices Affiliate Program?
A. It's totally free - there is no cost to join the program.

Q. What does it mean to be an "Affiliate"?
A. Affiliate Programs are in essence partnerships between businesses and people looking to make money out of selling appropriate products through referrals. It is innovative and convenient for both the business and the affiliate.

Q. Do I need a web site for your Affiliate Program?
A. Having a web site will help but you can also get email links that you can send to your friends and colleagues.

Q. Do I have to be a tech head ro join your Affiliate Program?
A. No. The system is designed to be very easy to use - the hard work is all done for you. All you need to do is give your web designer a piece of code to put onto your website or you can email links to people as well.

Q. I am waiting to get approved into the Affiliate Program, do I need to do anything else?
A. No, so long as you get a confirmation email you are pretty well assured I have your application. I am usually able to approve most applications within 24 hours but sometimes if I am away that isn't possible. If you haven't heard from me within a week you could perhaps email me to make sure I have your application.

Q. Do I need any special equipment or training?
A. No, it is best if you have a website and easy access to upload new information but you can just as easily refer via email and the old traditional word of mouth. It helps if you understand what I offer in my programs, that is why a past clients or workshop attendees always make great affiliate partners because they speak from the heart and from personal experience about what I do.

Q. What are unacceptable forms of marketing?
A. I do not allow anyone who would bring the program into disrepute by spamming people or being over bearing or pushy. This program is designed to be a win for everyone and should never be forced upon anyone.

Please Note: the following types of sites are not allowed to participate in my affiliate program: adult sites, sites that display adult banners, sites that promote violence, bigotry, or hatred, sites that promote illegal activity or anybody or company who do not operate in the light.

Q. Is this ethical ?
A, There will be many opinions on this but affiliate marketing is used throughout the world to reward loyal clients who don't mind spreading the word and being rewarded for their efforts. If you have any problems with the concept I am happy to speak with you. Many associations and organisations require you to state up front that what you are recommending is part of an affiliate program and that you will get money for the referrals. I am fully supportive of these rulings and actively encourage you to be up front with people. This program is not designed to be secretive or a "sneaky way to make a fast dollar off friends and family" it is designed to reward people who are loyal to me and my products.

Q. What is not included in the program ?
A. Obviously there is no payment made if you refer a free product such as the 90 Day Challenge. My system however will remember you as the referrer of anyone who signs for a free program and will start paying commission to you as soon as they sign for any paid program. Most of my paying clients come from them starting to know and trust me from either a free product or talk.

Q. How will I know what to promote ?
A. Every time I have a new product or service going into the marketplace, I will send you an email with all the details and the specific rates of commission so you can determine if it is right for you and anyone in your inner circle. You are fully in control of what you send out and how you send it to your database or friends and colleagues.

Q. What sort of people make the best Affiliate Partners?
A. People who have already used and love my products or people who know me to be of high integrity and know I offer extreme value in all my products and services including the free products. I prefer my Affiliate Partners to be people I already know, not strangers, that is why not everyone is accepted into the program.

Q. How can I earn the most money as one of your Affiliate Partners?
A. The most effective way to get people to click on your affiliate link is through a personal endorsement. This can be done via your website or via email or just in conversation. If you are speaking with someone you will have to ensure you tell them you will send them a link to click on. I usually say "I'll send you a special link to click on becasue they give me money, but that's not why I'm recommending it, it's because the product is great and they reward me for my loyalty".

Q. Is there a minimum number of sales I need to refer?
A. There is no minimum number of sales required to become or remain an affiliate but to save on admin costs I wait until you have earned at least $50 before I pay a commission out. So you might earn $30 one month and then $20 the following month - you have reached $50 so you will be paid and your account returned to zero. It’s simple – the more referrals you make the more money you make and the quicker you earn it!

Q. Can I send emails with my affiliate link to people?
A. Yes – Provided they are part of a legitimate Opt-in Newsletter or mailing list or database of yours or are friends, family or colleagues who are ok with you sending them this type of information. SPAM is no way allowed and will not be tolerated. If any affiliate spams then their affiliate account will immediately be suspended and no commissions will be paid.

Q. I operate more than one website. Can I still be an Affiliate?
A. Yes! You can place your affiliate link on as many of your Webpages as you like. The more links you have, the greater the chances of increasing your commission.

Q. Can I earn commission if I attend your events?
A. No sorry, it's only on referrals but loyal affiliate partners will expect to get great deals if they attend my events and programs.

Q. Are sales reported immediately?
A. You will receive an email every time one of your people purchases something on my shopping cart, providing of course that you have that function turned on! As soon as the payment is cleared it will show up in your reports in your special area on my website.

Q. I don't live in Australia, can I still join?
A. Yes, anyone with an email address can join. You do however have to agree to abide by Australian tax rules which require me to have a tax invoice on file before I pay you. Because I pay via PayPal it means so long as PayPal is available to you in your country you are fine to be an affiliate partner.

Q. Can I make changes to my affiliate account myself?
A. Yes, you have full access to your account via your special area on my website.

Payments

Q. How much will I make with your Affiliate Program?
A. I pay 30% commission on all products and services. This includes the ongoing relationship with a client, so you get commission on everything your referral purchases with me. Free products do not start to earn commission until the refer actually purchases something, but recommending free products such as the 90 Day Challenge is a great way to get clients interested in my other products.

Q. How often will I get paid?
A. Commission checks will be sent out on a monthly basis and can only be paid via PayPal.

Q. How do I get paid?
Via PayPal monthly if you have reached at least $50 in commission for the month. Payments are made no later than the 25th of each month for the previous month or months if you have not reached $50 in the previous month.

Q. Do I have to do anything special to get my payment?
A. Yes you do need to send me a tax invoice if you live in Australia or an invoice that meets the tax regulations in your country before I release the payment. You will get an email from me each month outlining the amounts to be paid. You simply draw up your invoice and email it to me and I will transfer your funds no later than the 25th of the month. Invoices not received by that date will be paid the following month.

Q. What if I don't have a PayPal Account?
A. You will need to set one up. It is free to have an account and the money is available for you to use immediately between other PayPal users and on EBay etc. If you want to transfer the funds to your normal bank account, this can take between 3-5 days to happen but you have to remember it would take longer than that for a cheque payment to get to you and clear.

Q. In what currency do I get paid?
A. All commissions are paid in Australia Dollars via your PayPal account. PayPal make it very easy to convert this currency into your local currency.

Q. Can I get paid for past referrals?
A. No. You must be signed up and approved as an affiliate partner before any payments can be made. Also, the person you refer must click into my system with the unique link you give them. The unique link is the only way I know who has referred them - no link - no payment.

Q. I feel this is a wee but unethical but I sort of like the concept - how could I get over this?
A. I am happy to pay your commission to a charity (if they have a PayPal account and can invoice me for it). Also please remember this program is instead of me using traditional advertising. I could spend thousands of dollars trying to meet the people you know and never find them via newspapers and magazines. With your referral, it means they get to have products that help them make more money and grown their business and I only pay for people who actually become clients plus you get rewarded.

Tracking and Reporting

Q. How are my referrals tracked and credited to my account?
A. After you are approved you will be given a logon and password to your own unique area on my website. You will be able to track your commissions and payments via that secure site. The program is highly sophisticated and will allow you do track your progress easily.

Q. If an affiliate sale is not tracked, what could be the reason?
A. The only way an affiliate sale does not get tracked is if the customer does not have cookies enabled in their browser. Cookies MUST be enabled for the tracking to work correctly. Also if a user regularly deletes the cookies on his computer then the tracking will also not work if he later returns to my site after deleting his cookies. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about this. However, the vast majority of Internet Browsers do have cookies installed by default and do not delete their cookies. Most think cookies are what a green monster eats as a "sometimes food". You cannot ask people to turn cookies on just so you can get commission - sorry it just can't work if cookies are turned off - it's the only way my system can track who is referring.

Program Issues

Q. What is I lose my password, how can I retrieve it?
A. You just need to go to the log in screen and click into the password retrieval area. Your password will be sent to the email address you signed up with.

Q. What if I want to stop?
A. You just need to stop telling people about my products and services either via removing everything from your website or stop sending email links. You can then just delete yourself from my system and all payments will cease, or you can choose to stay live and keep receiving payments until all the clients finish working with me.

Q. How do I become a Afrihost.com Affiliate?
A. You just need to take these steps:

1. Register to become an affiliate partner
2. Get approved to be an affiliate (not everyone gets in)
3. You receive your login and password via email once approved
4. You logon to your special member area on my website
5. You collect your unique codes to give to others (they look like weblinks)
6. When your referee logs to my website - it "remembers" them
7. Then when they sign up and pay for a program in the future you get an email saying you've got money
8. My shopping cart tracks the payments and you can log on at any time and see how you are doing
8. Then on the 25th of the month I pay all affiliate payments direct to your PayPal account once they get over $50
