60 Quick and Dirty Ways to Get Your Marketing Message Out of the World

When a natural therapist is first starting out in business there isn’t often resources, knowledge or money for big advertising campaigns. 

However, there is A LOT you can do with a simple brochure or flyer and a cheap colour printer. 

The three basic things to remember:

1. Get clear around your WHO & WHAT (WHO you are targeting with your campaign and WHAT you want to say to them).

2. Make it about THEM – not you or your modalities – focus on symptoms not modalities and clearly state the benefits they will walk away with rather than telling them how you are going to get those benefits.

3. LESS IS MORE!

Then it is just a matter of spreading the news.

Here are 60 Quick and Dirty Ways you can place your flyers to get your message out to the world quickly.

1. Shop windows
2. Your car window (not so you can’t see out of course!)
3. Supermarket bulletin boards
4. Thrift Stores
5. Hairdressers
6. Garage Sales
7. Other natural therapy businesses
8. Health Food Stores
9. Video Stores
10. Train Stations
11. Under the salt & pepper shakers in cafes
12. Dry Cleaners
13. Gym noticeboards
14. Laundromats
15. The telegraph pole by a bus stop
16. Notice board in the tea room at work
17. Get your family to hand them out at their workplace

Arrange for others to give your brochures away for you

18. Your local pizza delivery person could give one out with each pizza

23. Send a press release to your local newspaper

Current Clients
57. Send all your past clients a brochure with a note of thanks
58. Upgrade clients to something they haven’t tried before
59. Give brochures to clients to give to their friends & family
60. Ask your referring clients to give brochures out on your behalf

NB: All suggestions assume you have permission from the correct authorities

PLEASE NOTE: The Universe rewards action. The word AttrACTION contains the word action – not ATTR-sitting-around-on-my-butt-thinking-about-getting-clients. If you want to attract more clients you need to take action. If you get half way through this list you will find you will have more clients than you can handle because all the actions require you to talk to people and to take action. 

The key to success in a natural therapy practice is to create a clear message your target market can understand and taking appropriate action!
