Do I Need Special Equipment?

NO - to start with you can just use your land line phone - you know that old fashioned phone with the curly lead. In fact the older your technology with the phone the better - call quality can be affected by walk about phones, mobile phones, Skype or VOIP but basically anything goes in terms of the phone you use.

Further down the track you might like to buy a headset to free up your hands and solve the crooked neck problem.

As you get more experienced there are programs you can use on the internet that will make you look like a pro - but in the early days you only need a phone and a mouth!

Help - I'm Nervous!

Yes! - everyone is a bit nervous to start with but there are only three things you master and you already have two of the steps.

1. be yourself

2. learn a few tips and tricks to manage the call

3. talk about what you already know

 

Then you practice on friends and you are good to go!

What if the times don't work for me?

The sessions will be recorded and you will be able to listen in as many times as you like after the event has finished.

What will be covered?

Each class is 75 minutes long and over two sessions we will cover:

•  Different types of teleclasses

•  Different ways you can use teleclasses

•  Equipment & resources you will need

•  Other technology you can include

•  Writing your first teleclass program & script

•  What to do when things go wrong

How to:

•  Register participants

•  Determine the right number of people in the class

•  Structure the classes

•  Make people feel included on the calls

•  Overcome talking to yourself

•  Keep it interesting

•  Get the message out

You will be writing your first script between classes so you will leave the program ready to go with an idea of what your first class could be about.

Whats the Difference Between a Webinar and a Teleclass?

Webinars are hot at the moment but they require a lot more technology that requires download before people can get on your webinar and a lot more on-call skill.

To date I haven't been on a call where they poor presenter was trying to manage the technology.

What I recommend is you start with the easy option of teleclasses and them step up to webinars once you get more confident.

Teleclasses are cheap, easy to learn and don't require your participants to download software - I'm a big believer in walk before you run and find the easy route first time about.

Why is it so cheap?

The lovely thing about teleclasses is that once you have one created - they are very easy to roll out again.

This class is one I prepared quite some time ago, its still relevant and I can roll it out easily, give practical information over a short period of time and set you on course.

You do most of the work outside class - so its dead easy for me and teleclasses have made such a difference for me so I like to keep this class at a reasonable price so it doesn't stop anyone having a go.

How Does It Work?

Full details will be emailed to you when you register.

You will be given phone numbers to call in the USA. These phone numbers connect you to what is called a bridge line. It is no different to talking with a friend except all your friends are there all at once.

You can purchase a phone calling card to make the call to the USA cost around $1 per hour.

The process is no harder than using an ATM machine.

How Much Does it Cost?

Teleclasses can offer extreme value for everyone because no one has to leave home to do them. So the price is extraordinarily low.

We use a bridgeline in the USA to keep costs to an absolute minimum.

I am charging $49 in total for both classes in the series which means the cost of the course will easily pay for itself as soon as you run your first paid class.

PLUS its all about delivering that first class so for an additional $99 I will do a one on one call with you where I listen to you taking a practice call or if you are really brave I can sit in behind a live call and critique you.
